  • Condition: Previously owned vintage glass cake stand with heavy dome lid and pedestal base, in very good condition with no chips, cracks, breaks. There appears to have been a repair made where the base and cake plate are connected. The repair is physically sound but there is some cosmetic glue residue that is noticeable when the plate is empty. See photos.

    11.5" Covered Glass Cake Stand, Pedestal Base, Diamond Starburst, Heavy Dome Lid
    Elegant clear glass covered cake stand on a footed pedestal base
    Measures approximately 11.5" across rim, 4.5" across base, 4.75" tall
    12" to top of lid finial, inside lid diameter 10.75". Lid weighs over 5#.
    Very pretty pattern on cake plate, a starburst through a circle of 14 diamond filled diamonds
    Lid is clear plain glass to offer full view of the beautiful cake inside
    Can be used to store and display cakes, muffins, cookies, danish, etc.
    Bowl and lid are both in very good condition with no chips, cracks, breaks.

    SELLER'S NOTES:
    There appears to have been a repair made where the base and cake plate are connected. The repair is physically sound but there is some cosmetic glue residue that is noticeable when the plate is empty. It gives the pedestal base a yellowish tint, most likely in the glue itself. The discoloration is not noticeable when there is a cake being displayed on the plate. See photos.
