The Tigers, the Triple A affiliate of the Oakland A’s, were 39-32 in the first half, good for first place in the Northern Division. In the second half the Tigers finished in 2nd place with a 39-33 record and finished in 2
nd
place overall. They lost 3 games to 2, to Calgary, in the Northern Division Championships. Keith Lieppman, manager, is on the sweet spot.
