    Description

    2 piece covered round COMPOTE dish by RIVERSIDE GLASS WORKS in the pattern No. 76 (OMN-original manufacturer name) aka FROSTED CHICKEN aka CHICK aka CHICKEN.
    Very clear glass, etched flowers on a flat "lawn", plain columns, fluted edges, clear pedestal with out-cropping rings on the pedestal. It is a beautiful, simple pattern Early American Pressed Glass piece with a very unusual finial--the frosted chicken.
