Framed Litho of  Custers Last Fight 1952 Art Anheuser BUSCH Hand Color Litho BUDWEISER Original
This is a litho art of the original piece & the colors are outstanding
The original piece was presented to the Seventh Regiment of U.S. Cavalry by the Anheuser- Busch Brewing Association. The painting shows the image of Custer and his Cavalry being overrun by Native Americans. The original painting was done by western artist Cassily Adams in the 1880's.
*Anheuser- Busch obtained the painting and produced thousands of copies across the nation for advertising and promotional purposes.
The front of this litho has a closeup & is marked"Custer's Last Fight with Budweiser in red underneath.
The Back reads"Custers last fight. 1952 A Famous painting has been reproduced by Anheuser Busch courtesy of......  "
This is currently in a Frame.  it appears to be hand colored but perhaps the litho was that amazing & bright colored with reds etc. this colors on this make it an outstanding piece. & looks hand colored.
The scene itself is quite amazing. This is the original frame it was in when it was hung in a historical bar.
the framed piece measures 29.25" x 19"  -- the print itself measures 26" x almost 17"  it will come framed since it is in the original frame for years.  overall nice vintage shape
