Pressed Glass Flower Etched Bands Handled Flower or Brides Basket. Very pretty handled brides basket form the EAPG ( Earl American Pattern Glass) era, measures approx 9 inches high and between 6 and 7 inches wide. The glass is clear and bright, I do not see or feel any chips or cracks, lovely piece, please expect some signs of aging and light wear, maybe manufacturing defects, but no damage!
This is a lovely piece, some light marks and signs of age as expected this was made long ago, possibly 100 years old! This may be Westmoreland, but, I am unsure and do not have a good source on hand, it has soem unique detail not found on many of the common baskets.

These are named Bride’s Baskets, but, were really a flower basket vase, they look a bit different than the original 1800s Brides baskets which held silver gifts and later became important gifts at ceremonies.
