Description
This is a Early 1909 - 1910 Gambler’s Cheat Holdout made by H.C. Evans & Company. It is built on the Jacobs Ladder style with a arm pressure release. Worn by gamblers to deliver cards into their hands from inside at their sleeves with the press of a button. There is green felt between the ladder and slide to hold down the noise of the movement. This device could help you when a big pot or get you shot. Condition is "Used" and needs repair. See picture #8 for what needs repair. There is a brass tension pin that has pulled out of place and need to be re-inserted into its hole. The unit has its original elastic arm bands. The Ace of diamond card comes with the holdout and is original to the period. What an awesome piece to add to any High End Vintage Casino or Gamblers collection.
