    HULL POTTERY LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD BUTTER DISH PAT. DOS. NO. 135889.

    Beautiful estate sale rescue.
    In excellent pre-owned condition.
    NO chips, cracks or crazing found.
    Nice, bright colors.
    Lid features--Blue side glancing eyes
    Gold bow,
    Dress decorated with centered large floral bouquet of red/orange poppy, purple violets and white daisies. Blue ruffle around dress bottom.
    Bottom of Lid measures 6 1/4" x 4 1/2"
    Butter Dish Bottom features-- Blue ruffle around edge matches dress bottom ruffle.
    Underside faintly impressed  PAT. DOS. NO. 135889
    From what I've read, the side glancing blue eyes and the measurements of the butter lid is consistent with that of an original piece and not that of a reproduction.
