Lidded Sugar Riverside No. 76 Frosted Chicken Finial EAPG clear glass dish 1880s

2 piece lidded sugar or candy dish by RIVERSIDE GLASS WORKS in the rare pattern No. 76 aka FROSTED CHICKEN aka CHICK aka CHICKEN This piece has plain columns with a footed base; no etch pattern. The lid has the unusual finial of a chick busting out of an egg, which has some damage to it. Will be a great piece to have on the shelf or to put into use without worry of a perfect piece getting broken.

SIZE:
4 1/4" diameter X 8" tall (with lid in place)
CONDITION: Good to fair condition. Damage to the finial and rim chips on the lid. Straw marks and air bubbles from manufacturing process and scuffing from use are present. No chips, cracks, breaks, flakes, bruising, nicks or flea bites on the base.
Some annealing lines and prominent mold lines on the base.
