    Description

The first three Porcelain Barbies NRFB:
    Blue Rhapsody Barbie #1708 1986
NRFB.  This is the first porcelain Barbie Mattel ever produced, and she's truly fantastic because she has the greatest royal blue with darker blue skirt original designer gown. The gown appears to be real taffeta. The skirt has a glittering silver and blue design. She is sweetly painted, and her wig is well curled and looks realistic. Her box is mint but has no shipper. The rest of the line that followed was replications of early Barbies, so Blue Rhapsody really stands apart as an original modern Barbie done in porcelain, as well as the first of its kind.
Barbie Enchanted Evening #3415 1987 Porcelain
NRFB. Enchanted Evening was one of the most widely known outfits from classic Barbie of the early 60's. Mattel reproduced her in the outfit in porcelain as their second attempt to produce porcelain Barbies. It's a great reproduction of the outfit, and the doll recreates the image of a classic ponytail Barbie. She has unusual golden blonde hair. The box is mint except on the top flap and back panel where the tape has removed inch to inch and a half of the box's surface coloring.
Benefit Performance Barbie #5475 1988 Porcelain
NRFB. Mattel's third foray into porcelain Barbies was to recreate a rare 1600 outfit from 1967 that collectors would otherwise have not been able to easily get. The doll's raven wig is styled to give the illusion of the swirl ponytail. She has attached eyelashes on a classic looking Barbie sculpt. Great reproduction of the outfit. The doll's box is mint, although the white seems to have darkened slightly with age, and she does have the shipper.
Due to issues with international shipping tied to the virus, I have had to suspend shipping outside the US for the time being.
