    Description

    The item for sale is a six sided clear glass pitcher that was made in the United  States by Higbee Glass during the beginning of the twentieth century.  The pattern is often referred to as Panel Thistle as each side or panel has a pressed thistle with an alternating panel decorated with a star burst like decorative motif.  The bottom has six small feet projecting out.  The top rim has a saw tooth edge.  The pitcher does not appear to be marked. The condition is essentially the same as when the pitcher was made.  There are no chips nor cracks.  The is some very minor roughness to the mold seams on the feet as made.  Some tiny bubbles are included in the glass.  The height is 7 3/4".  The pitcher holds about a quart of liquid.
