One-of-a-Kind March 26, 1940 Autograph Book of the Washington Senators. We picked this item up in an auction. A Gentleman named Dat Jacobs, from Richmond VA gathered these autographs at Tinker Field in Orlando, Florida, during training camp. In Excellent Condition. The following players signed the book: Ken Chase, Jimmy Wasdell, "Ossie" Bluege, James Harry Dean, Sid Hudson, Joe Haynes, Buddy Meyer, Sam West, (can't read first name) Guiliani, Charley Gelbert, Al Evans, Jake Early, Bucky Jacobs, Early Gus Wynn, Joe Krakanckas, George Case, Buddy Lewis, Bennie Bergough, Cecil Travis, Paul Gehman, Jimmy Bloodworth, Dutch Leonard, Gee Walker, Jim Pofahl, Rick Ferrell, Walter Masterson, Clyde Milan, Bucky Harris, Mike Martin, and Nick Altrock. Since this was training camp, a few of these guys stayed in the minors or were cut or traded. For example, James Harry Dean did not make the 1940 roster, but pitched 2 games for the Washington Senators in 1941. I have given my best guesses on some of the signatures as they are difficult to read, but most of the players were actually researched and located. This Rare Autograph Book is Certain to Make the Winner Very Pleased! The Starting Bid is just 9.95. Insured S/H is .95 in the US and International S/H will be determined by the E-bay GSP system. Good Luck!
