    Description

    I bought this Rhythm Tech cabasa brand new in 2007 at West L.A. Music (which was bought by Guitar Center.)
    I thought I’d learn how to play it so that during band gigs I could rest my shoulders from the accordion and pick up the cabasa. But I never got the hang of it. So it has sat on top of my studio monitors untouched all this time. Ah, good intentions.
    It’s a beautiful, well-crafted instrument made of genuine hardwood with chrome hardware and a firm rubber grip.

    The wood is a dark brown color and the rubber grip is black with the Rhythm Tech name on it.
    The cabasa is 7.5” in length and has a diameter of 4.5”.
    It has a nice bright sound to it.
