    Description

Vintage 1960s Indiana Glass Co. Diamond Point clear Depression glass three-footed candy dish, known as a Bon Bon within this pattern. This beautiful little pressed glass dish is perfect for serving your guests candies or nuts, or for holding cocktail additions such as olives or lemon wedges. The textured diamond pattern creates a complex effect like cut crystal, and the scalloped edge adds interest. This small dish is raised on three curved feet or “toes”giving it additional elegance. The Indiana Glass Company was located in Dunkirk, Indiana, and began making this Diamond Point pattern in 1965. This particular Bon Bon dish is in pristine mint condition, with no chips, cracks, scratches, flea bites, rough edges or damage of ANY kind. It belonged to my mother-in-law who received it as a gift in the late 1960s and never used it. Please examine the pictures closely in order to fully assess for yourself the condition of this dish. I have more pictures if you would like to see them. Measurements are 5”/12.5cm in diameter, 3.125”/8cm high, with three feet that are 0.5”/1.2cm in height. Weight is 1lb. This charming little vintage dish will add beauty and sparkle to any table or bar!

I’ve been a collector of various things since I was a kid, but at this point in my life I’m happy to be selling some of my treasures so that someone else can enjoy them now. I’ve never gotten a bad review either as a seller or a buyer, and I strive to do my very best for each and every customer.
Please view all pictures carefully as they most accurately depict the condition of an item. I take the best pictures that I can but I’m not a professional, so if you would like more pictures of something please don’t hesitate to send me a message. I describe each item to the extent of my knowledge but I am NOT an expert, only someone with a varied interest in all kinds of stuff for many years and the desire to share what I know. Measurements are approximate, done to the best of my ability.
My sale items have been cherished and carefully cared for over the years, and mine has always been a smoke-free home. Everything has been stored inside boxes in my clean and dry basement or has been inside cabinets or furniture. I do have dogs, but they do not come into contact with my sale merchandise, and everything I sell has been thoroughly cleaned before being put up for sale. I am an environmentally conscious seller so I do reuse boxes and packaging material from items that I buy, but only if they meet my high standards of cleanliness.
I have always been known for my very careful packaging so as to ensure that there will be no movement or breakage during transit of any item I sell. If damage does occur during shipping, or if you are unhappy for ANY reason, please contact me before leaving feedback and I promise to make it right. I very much appreciate your business!
