Vintage Budweiser Bow Tie Neon Beer Sign 1992 Bowtie
The Budweiser Bow Tie Neon Beer Sign is in excellent condition and lights up nicely.
The “Budweiser” lettering lights up in a very nice white (or possibly a very light blue). The Bow Tie neon tubing lights up in a very nice red.
We feel like we say this in every neon we’ve listed, but the pictures to not do the sign justice.
There is a plastic red framing around the bow tie neon tubing. It is in very good shape and securely attached to the framing bars.
The metal framing bars are in excellent shape. There are small rubbery coverings on four of the six the fronts of the metal framing bars.
The transformer has a Franceformer metal tag on the side of it with a serial number of 5 92. Based on this, we believe this sign is from 1992. There is also a blue Underwriters Laboratories sticker on the top of the transformer.
There is a slight hum when the sign is lit.
There is a pull chain on the left side of the transformer that will turn the sign on and off. We tested it a few times and it is working fine.
The power cord looks to be about 5 Feet long, with a three-prong plug. Both are in good shape.
The plastic Bow Tie measures about 28.5 inches across and about 17 inches high.
The Sign measures about 30.25 inches across (left-most framing bar to right-most framing bar. The Sign measures about 18.5 inches high (bottom to top of vertical framing bars).
We
are listing this as Local Pickup only at this time. The sign is currently stored at another location, so we would need a day or so to retrieve it.
We would also be available to meet for pickup at a mutually agreed upon location/date/time within a One-Hour or so drive of the 08243 Area Code. We would also be willing to travel a greater distance, but would need some to ask for some reimbursement for gas and tolls.
