    Description

    This auction is for a very pretty and unusual clear pressed glass covered butter or candy dish.
    We have not been able to find anything about the maker or pattern.
    It is in pristine condition and very unusual detail.
    The base is on a pedestal and looks like a compote dish with one inch round raised section to hold the butter or candy inside.
    The lid is just as pretty, with nice faceted finial on top and scalloped edges matching the bottom part of the dish.
    The height of dish with the lid on is 5 1/2".
    Diameter of the largest circle of bottom part is 7"
