    Description

    This is a magnificent pressed glass pedestal compote.
    It stands approximately 5” in height and measures 9 ½” in diameter.
    The sturdy base measures approximately 5” in diameter.
    A pretty etched pattern surrounds the sides of the compote and the scalloped rim is embossed with an attractive design.  The base is enhanced with a fancy and embossed shape.  Typical of early American pressed glass this compote is unmarked, but I am speculating that is could be a product of the early 20th century
    Riverside Glass Company that was established in Wellsburg, West Virginia.
    This elaborate compote is in very good condition with the exception of a few scuffs/scratches, some manufacturing flaws and a small flaw along the inner rim.
    Otherwise there are no chips, cracks, discolorations or any other evidence of damage.
