This pin was a surprise release at the 2014 Imagination Gala Pin Event at Walt Disney World Resort. It is the first pin in a 13 pin monthly series leading up to next year's Gen"EAR"ation D Event. The pin features Mickey Mouse as Steamboat Willie. He is standing with his upper body protruding out through the front of a "D" in the form known as Walt's signature D. Steamboat Willie is lifting his hat into the air with his left hand and holding onto the D with his right hand. At the bottom of the pin is a dangle plaque that simply reads "Steamboat Willie". On the back of the pin is the waffle style Mickey icon pattern with only one anti-spinner prong next to the pin post. Printed on the back of the "D" portion of the pin is the 2014 Pin Trading logo and Disney Made in China in a box below the logo. In a third box just below the pin post is printed "1 of 13" On the dangle portion of the pin is a box that reads "Limited Edition of 500" and next to that is a box containing the serial number.
