Lovely vintage collectible 9" bright turquoise blue pressed glass plate in the SHEAF OF WHEAT pattern by Wheaton Glass Company which is a reproduction using the original Kemple molds and it is marked in-mold with both the Kemple "K" mark and the Wheaton "W" mark.
Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition
This lovely bright turquoise blue glass SHAFT OF WHEAT plate is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or lines. I felt along the rim - has the normal raised edges from the mold but did not feel or see an chips. It does have one "straw mark" in center original to production (see photos) otherwise great and displays beautifully.
Details
This plate has an embossed stylized wheat pattern on the rim - a series of dotted / embossed "X" designs that form a zig-zag openwork border.
